Jorge Rossy Vibes Quartet

Internationally celebrated drummer, vibraphonist and composer Jorge Rossy presents his brand-new Vibes Quartet - a pan-European ensemble bringing together some of today's most compelling voices in jazz: Milena Casado (trumpet), Robert Landfermann (double bass), and Cornelia Nilsson (drums).
Playing vibraphone and marimba, Rossy leads this first-ever meeting of all four musicians - performing together live for the very first time before heading into the studio to record their debut album for Basel-based label Clap Your Hands.
Expect music that is melodic and luminous on the surface, yet rich in harmonic depth and open to the unexpected - from lyrical beauty to abstract textures and shadings. Rossy's compositions provide a clear, elegant framework; within it, each musician is free to push the boundaries of sound and silence in their own voice.
